Daniel Swarilov is an Austrian-born, London-based artist and designer working primarily in cast metal. Raised in the mountains of Tyrol and trained in architecture at the Architectural Association, his practice is rooted in material experimentation and the landscape.

Working with plants, branches, stone and other found fragments, he casts natural forms directly into aluminium, bronze and other metals, preserving their textures through transformation. The resulting works move between sculpture and collectible design, from botanical reliefs and candelabras to furniture and objects of use, exploring memory, preservation and the traces held within materials.
